The name "Aura-Soma" comes from "Aurora", ancient Greek Goddess of the morning light. 

"Soma" in Greek means "being" and 
in Sanskrit "living energies". 

Thus Aura-Soma means

'the light made manifest in living energies'.

The "Equilibrium" bottles are at the heart of the Aura-Soma system. Each bottle contains two colour fractions, a mixture of lotus oil and herbal essence rests on top of a solution of herbal plant extracts and water.  

Containing herbal extracts, aromatic essential oils and infused with the properties of gems and crystals, the Equilibrium Oils work directly on the physical level and are applied to the skin. 

Here they have a direct influence on the astral body from where their energies vibrate down into the etheric and the electro-magnetic fields, the template of the physical body.
 

Pomanders

Aura-Soma Pomanders are made from a combination of 49 herbal extracts and essential oils. 7 herbs related through their colour to each of the 7 chakras, making 49 in all. 

Each of the pomanders contains a predominance of the herbs corresponding to the particular chakra to which the colour relates, but whilst within each coloured pomander the proportions will change, all 49 are always present.  

The primary function of the Pomander 
is for protection. 

They are a means of focusing our intent and are used to keep the auric field vibrant, as well as being used for disinfecting and clearing spaces.

The Pomanders primary field of action is the electro-magnetic field surrounding the physical body. They are passed through the electro-magnetic field, producing healing and protection.  

Quintessences

 Aura-Soma Quintessences are the subtlest of all the products in the Aura-Soma range. They contain finer energies which work through
the astral and etheric fields. 

They are great to use with meditation, prayer, for giving and receiving healing and for bringing certain qualities and experiences into our lives.

These highly subtle vibrations invoke the most positive energies of the colour ray 
(and therefore the vital energies of the Masters) 
to which they are related into the auric field.  

In using a Quintessence we are asking that the energy of the Source be brought to us through a particular route. As more light and energy is contained in a Quintessence they are essentially more effective and powerful than a Pomander.
